BDSM, body modification, transhumanism, and the limits of liberalism

The article is about body autonomy, and surveys laws and landmark court cases such as sexual activities in R v. Brown (1994), R v. Wilson (1996), and R v. Emmett (1999), and consensual body art in R v. BM (2018). The paper discusses inconsistent legal treatment and legal limbo, makes a case for reform, and describes expected benefits from reform as well. (However, please note that while we’re sympathetic, Freedom of Form Foundation, Inc itself cannot directly pressure or call for specific legislation).
